In-app tour: “Unmatched Trade Alarm Setup”.
The Unmatched Trade Alarm watches your copy trading and alerts you the moment something goes wrong. This is a critical safety feature — it catches positions that didn’t copy correctly, orders that got stuck, and mismatches between leader and followers, all of which can lead to unintended exposure.
What it monitors:
- Position mismatches: leader and follower holding different quantities.
- Copy failures: an order failed to copy to a follower.
- Stale orders: a follower order stuck working while the leader already filled.
Timing settings. Two knobs control detection behavior:
- Detection Threshold: how long to wait before raising the alarm. This avoids false positives during normal fill delays — a lower threshold means faster alerts but more noise.
- Alarm Cooldown: the minimum time between repeated alarms for the same issue.
The default values work well for most setups.
Notification channels. Choose how the alarm reaches you: Toast (in-app popup), Telegram, Email, Discord, or Webhook — each of the last four requires that channel to be configured in its own section first. You can enable several at once; make sure at least one is on, or the alarm has no way to reach you.
Active Mismatches. This section shows what the alarm currently sees: detected position mismatches, which instruments are affected, and the leader-vs-follower quantities. It updates in real time as the copier runs — check it first whenever you suspect a copy issue.
