In-app tour: “Settings Tab Guide”.

The Settings tab holds global settings that affect how the whole Trade Copier operates. Changes here apply application-wide unless overridden by specific templates or account settings.

User Data. Your ETP account information — name, email, address, account details. This comes from your ETP account.

Display Settings. Control the look of the application: choose the Theme (Light, Dark, or System) and toggle Show Ads.

General App Settings. Default behaviors, most of which can stay at their defaults:

  • Auto-enable accounts/instruments when assigned.
  • Allow accounts in multiple groups.
  • Confirmation dialogs for flatten/cancel actions.
  • Notification preferences.
  • Debug logging (for troubleshooting).

Global Templates. The fallback templates used when no group or account override is specified: the global Copy Method Template (how trades are sized), Instruments Template (which symbols are copied), and Risk Management Template (daily P&L limits). See the template hierarchy: Account > Group > Global.

Smart Order Routing. Advanced order handling:

  • Submit closing orders after fill: wait for the entry to fill before sending its stop/target.
  • Garbage collector: automatically cancel orphaned orders on followers.

Both help keep orders consistent between leader and followers.

Order Thread Usage. Controls how orders are processed internally:

  • Single: one order at a time — slowest but most conservative.
  • Multi: parallel processing — faster, recommended for most users.
  • Manual: specify an exact thread count.

Higher thread counts can improve speed but increase system load.
