In-app tour: “Telegram Notifications Setup”.
Telegram notifications deliver real-time trade alerts straight to your phone or computer. Setup takes about five minutes.
Step 1 — Create a Telegram bot.
- Open Telegram and search for @BotFather.
- Send the
/newbotcommand. - Choose a name for your bot (e.g. “My Trade Copier”).
- Choose a username (it must end in “bot”).
- Copy the Bot Token you receive.
Keep your bot token private — don’t share it!
Step 2 — Get your Chat ID.
- Search for @userinfobot in Telegram.
- Start a chat and send any message.
- The bot replies with your Chat ID — a number like
123456789. - Copy it.
Step 3 — Start your bot. Important: before the bot can message you, you must authorize it. Find your bot by its username and click Start (or send /start). Without this step the bot cannot message you!
Step 4 — Configure the app.
- Paste the Bot Token into the Bot Token field.
- Paste your Chat ID into the Chat ID field.
- Check Enable Telegram Notifications.
- Click Send Test Message to verify everything works.
Step 5 — Choose your notifications. Select which events you want alerts for: Order Filled, Position Opened/Closed, Order Rejected, Connection Status, and Errors. Start with fewer notifications and add more as needed.
